South Dakota Judge Overturns Medical Marijuana Ballot Language PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 27 September 2006
Active Image A few weeks back we told you about the prejudiced and misleading medical marijuana ballot language in South Dakota, promoted by Attorney General Larry Long. Well, due to the Marijuana Policy Project's lawsuit, Judge Max Gors ruled the language must be changed. "The whole impression leads one to believe that the attorney general wants voters to reject the initiative. The attorney general should confine his politicking to the stump and leave his bias out of the ballot statement that is supposed to be objective," Gors wrote. Hurray for an honest and objective judge!
