Sativex is Moving Forward

GW Pharmaceuticals recently announced they are recruiting 218 patients in European countries to participate in a second Phase III study of Sativex for the treatment of MS patients.

Sativex Phase III trials are scheduled to begin in the US around the end of this year with cancer pain patients.

Marijuana, Mice and Mothers

Does continuously pumping THC into newly pregnant mice and discovering that their embryos don't implant correctly mean that pregnant women who use marijuana will have failed pregnancies? Or worse, have tubal or ectopic pregnancies and be rendered infertile? News reports regarding a Vanderbilt study that infused those mice would have us believe that and much more.

AFSCME Endorses Medical Marijuana

According to a recent Marijuana Policy Project press release the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), which represents 1.4 million American public services workers' in the country, passed a medical marijuana resolution this week in Chicago.
